Some couples tour 5 homes and call it a day. Brendan and Ashley? They toured 69. In lightning speed. With full emotional whiplash before and after every showing. We almost needed a couples counselor on speed dial—but somehow, they were hilarious the entire time.
Every tour came with commentary, cocktails, and chaos. Brendan insisted on being 20 minutes late to every showing. Ashley insisted on being 20 minutes early. Time was meaningless. Laughter was not. They also refused to ever let me pay for drinks, and now claim they “owe me for life”—which, for the record, I’m absolutely cashing in at future happy hours.
In the end, they got the house, kept their marriage intact, and guaranteed themselves a permanent spot on my “favorite clients” list. Haunted or not.
